Thanks to UNTELS (Universidad Nacional Tecnológica de Lima Sur) for organizing the conference “1er Encuentro de Tecnología e innovación-Macro Región Lima 2016”. This was the advertisement they had prepared for the occasion:
I had traveled almost 37Km from Lima to reach UNTELS, so it was difficult to be there on time. The organizers kindly moved the schedule while participants were registered, then I spent time for lunch with other speakers and organizers.
A previous history of GNU/Linux was also included in my talk to draw FEDORA and GNOME into the story. The talk last in total more than one hour, but this time I really sweat the GNOME and FEDORA t-shirt. It might be because the summer time in Perú 🙂
Hearing questions and suggestions from different people from different universities exerts myself make an effort for Linux, not only in history and administration. Troubleshooting, integration with different technologies and awareness of the future of Linux are concerns.
